Anxiety Therapy For Anxious Overthinkers
WHO OVERTHINK THE SMALL STUFF & HOLD BACK THE BIG STUFF
IN BOSTON, ALL ACROSS MASSACHUSETTS & FLORIDA
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and stuck, therapy can help untangle the chaos and give you the tools to find relief.
You Don’t Have to Hold It All Together Alone.
Days can feel like a mental marathon.
For over thinkers, your brain never seems to stop—planning, overthinking, anticipating, and handling all the details to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
You’re the one who sees all the moving pieces—the 15 steps it takes to get from A to B. It’s just how your mind works. While other people seem fine just “winging it,” your brain doesn’t work that way.
But lately, the mental load feels heavier than ever. It never stops. And even though you know you’re capable, you can’t shake the exhaustion and overwhelm.
Does This Sound Familiar?
You’re overwhelmed by your ongoing mental to-do list.
It feels like no one else really gets it—or even offers to help—because they assume you’ll just handle it.
People sometimes misunderstand you, saying you’re “too particular,” “nitpicky,” or even “critical.” But that’s not how it feels to you—you’re just trying to make sure things get done.
You feel stuck in overthinking mode, constantly second-guessing or planning every detail.
From the outside, people think you’ve got it all together, but on the inside? It’s lonely and exhausting. As an over thinker, you might feel like you’re always carrying the weight of every decision and detail on your own.
If any of this feels like you, I want you to know: you don’t have to navigate this on your own anymore.
Imagine If Things Could Be Different
What if you could start your day without that familiar pit in your stomach?
What if the endless mental checklist could finally quiet down, leaving you space to breathe?
Therapy isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about helping you navigate life in a way that feels more manageable and aligned with you.
You’d still be the planner, the one who thinks ahead—but without the crushing sense of overwhelm.
You’d trust that things don’t have to be perfect to work out, and you’d feel confident enough to let go of some of the details—knowing that there’s more than one way for things to work out.
When life throws you a curveball, you’d have the flexibility to handle it without spiraling into stress.
Most importantly, you’d feel deeply understood and able to let your guard down with the people who matter most. No more explaining or justifying yourself.
Here’s How I Can Help
A Space to Untangle the Overwhelm
You don’t need to explain every little detail for me to get it—I already see how hard you’re working to hold everything together. In therapy, my hope is that you’ll feel truly understood—without needing to overthink or prove yourself.
Together, we’ll create a space where you can finally set down the mental load and make sense of what’s been weighing you down. I’ll reflect back the clarity and validation you’ve been searching for, helping you untangle the thoughts and feelings that have been swirling in your head.
Language for What Feels Hard to Say
Sometimes, the hardest part is putting your inner world into words. I’ll help you find the language for the emotions and experiences you’ve struggled to articulate, so you can understand yourself better—and communicate with others more clearly.
Understanding the Patterns That Shape You
We’ll explore how past relationships, experiences, and even your sensitivities or neurodivergence shape the way you approach the world today. Whether you’re an over thinker or someone struggling with heightened sensitivity, this isn’t about fixing or changing you—it’s about learning how to embrace who you are while making life feel less overwhelming.
Tools for Managing Anxiety and Overwhelm
I also use concepts like polyvagal theory to help you understand the signals your nervous system sends when you’re anxious, stuck, or stressed. You’ll learn simple, practical tools to gently shift those states and create space for calm and clarity—even on hard days.
Additionally, I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful therapy technique that helps you process and move past painful memories, negative beliefs, or overwhelming emotions that may be keeping you stuck. EMDR can help over thinkers feel more grounded and free to move forward without the weight of the past holding them back.
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all process. It’s a collaborative journey where we’ll honor your strengths, help you navigate the hard moments, and build tools that work for you.
Why Therapy?
You’ve likely tried everything you can to manage on your own. You’re self-aware and insightful enough to know what’s happening—but no matter how much you think it through, it feels like you’re going in circles.
Therapy for over thinkers offers something different:
A space where you don’t have to carry it all alone.
A way to make sense of the overwhelm and find clarity.
A chance to feel deeply understood and supported while building the tools you need to move forward.
If you’re an over thinker and have been longing for things to feel easier, therapy could be the space where that begins.

And hey, if you’re not sure, we can figure it out together during afree consultation.
