FAQs

How much do you charge?

Therapy sessions are $225 for the initial intake and $200 per 50-minute ongoing session. Coaching packages start at 3 months for $2,850 or $950 a month. Visit my rates page for more information about packages and payment details.

Do you take insurance?

No, for therapy I am out-of-network with all insurance companies. You can call your insurance plan and ask about your “out-of-network” benefits. If you have out-of-network benefits, you would pay my full fee upfront and then I would provide you with a receipt or “superbill” once a month that you can submit to your insurance company. They would then reimburse you for part of my fee.

Insurance does not cover coaching.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes, there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged my full session fee. In these situations, insurance will not reimburse you, and you are responsible for the full fee. If it is a session you have pre-paid for it will count toward a session used.

How does it work? What do I have to do in sessions?

Because each person has different issues and goals for therapy, it will be different depending on the individual. I tailor my therapeutic and coaching approach to your specific needs.

How long will it take?

Unfortunately, this is not possible to say in a general FAQs page. Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of time it can take to allow you to accomplish your goals depends on many factors. For therapy, I recommend weekly sessions initially with the option of decreasing frequency once progress has been made. This will be a decision we make together. In general, therapy tends to be longer-term and coaching shorter-term, although there are no fast and hard rules. Coaching is a minimum of 3 months with more support in between sessions. Therapy has no specified minimum but is usually at least 6 months.
